Commerce infrastructure for authorized AI.

Savviq is an independently built, founder-led company started by Michael Patterson without startup capital. Its thesis is that customers should be able to authorize AI agents to compare and purchase across willing merchants, with clear controls and a record of what the agent did.

The problem

The buying work is fragmented. The agent infrastructure is too.

Routine procurement still involves repeated searching, comparing delivered costs and terms, and completing separate checkouts. Independent merchants also need a reliable way to expose current catalog and fulfillment information to authorized agents.

Savviq is being designed as connective commerce infrastructure for customers, participating merchants, and agent developers—not a replacement for merchant inventory, fulfillment, or a retailer’s private systems.

The first product direction

Narrow scope. Human approval first.

The MVP is being scoped around recurring office and commercial supply purchases for U.S. businesses. The proposed workflow starts from a buyer’s requirements, compares eligible merchant offers and total delivered cost, and presents the result for human approval before a transaction.

Product data, availability, shipping, taxes, and merchant terms must be verified or clearly identified as estimates or unknown. Any future purchase automation would require explicit, bounded, revocable permissions and an independent policy check immediately before execution.

Savviq is in concept validation and MVP planning. Live purchasing, a merchant network, and agent APIs are not currently available.

A staged roadmap

01

Validate the workflow

Confirm the recurring purchasing problem and the comparison details business buyers need, without claiming live transactions or measured savings.

02

Scope a focused MVP

Define the office-supplies catalog and offer model, transparent comparison, and approval-first purchase flow.

03

Test merchant connectivity

Explore authorized catalog, inventory, and quoting connections with merchants willing to participate; integrations are not yet established.

04

Expand only with safeguards

Consider scoped purchasing and replenishment after the approval workflow, authorization controls, and operational requirements are validated.

Founder-built · Capital-efficient by design

Built independently, with room for the right partners.

The work is focused on validating the smallest useful version before expanding scope. Savviq welcomes thoughtful conversations with potential strategic and investment partners, as well as businesses and builders aligned with accountable agentic commerce.
